  2. Well, it is definitely not an easy thing to do, believe me! I had them in the house last year. My house is huge, have four bedrooms and they had probably invaded all of the rooms, in addition to my living room and possibly my kitchen. I say possibly, because I am not quite sure, but I still believe that they were all around the house. Both my wife and I had rashes. She had them on her forearms and I had them on my face and at the back of my neck. I got the rashes first, so I thought it was something I ate; however, when her skin became itchy, we knew it had nothing to do with allergies. We went to see the doctor and he said those were bed bug rashes. My wife asked about the treatment (she got worried), but the doc said that everything would be fine without any treatment. All we had to do was to calm the skin irritation – we used antibacterial soap and lavender. My wife has very sensitive skin, and she was really struggling with the itchiness. However, ten days later, both of us were quite fine. We decided to clean the entire house (which was an incredibly difficult task, because it is huge). Pest control guys came and got the job done. Now we are being very cautious!
